Butch Conz Veterans for America First cloned website investigative findings published for public review.

Butch Conz is NOT authorized to represent Veterans for America First and at this time is a defendant in civil litigation.

Butch Conz, also known as Edward “Ed” Conz, is a former felon with an expunged record. Conz is best known for his ventures in NASCAR and his more recent business involvement with the controversial former Hillary Clinton campaign staffer, Angie Wong, of Miami.

VFAF is an acronym for Veterans for America First. The official national website, https://vfaf.us/, represents the original 2015 Veterans for Trump movement formed by Admiral Charles Kubic who was later joined by General Flynn. Flynn confirms such filming for a forthcoming VFAF documentary titled “VFAF Veterans for Trump — The Movement,” scheduled for release on September 1, 2024.

The VFAF license (group specific) is owned by L-Strategies LLC, a consulting firm in Georgia. In addition to signed contracts, a $15,000 payment was made on behalf of VFAF founder Josh Macius to his attorney. Veterans for America First is a public domain name; however, Butch Conz and cohort Angie Wong, neither of whom are veterans, are recently attempting to impersonate the original group founded by Admiral Kubic and represented on the VFAF.US website.

Both Butch Conz and Angie Wong are currently using the imposter Veterans group and their related social media accounts to defame and harass VFAF, Stan Fitzgerald, and Jared Craig. Their national website even goes so far as to defame the grassroots leaders. The imposter vets group headed by Conz , his wife,  and Wong was clearly created to be used as a tool for cyberstalking and leftist tactics to distract from the litigation they are both facing.

The recent assassination attempt on president Trump was not even mentioned on some of the imposter groups social media but defaming the authentic VFAF was ongoing.

One of the deflection methods the Wong-Conz team is using is to repeatedly state on a daily basis that Stan Fitzgerald has a felony conviction stemming from a 1998 FBI investigation, where he paid $70K (not millions) in restitution. Fitzgerald has maintained his innocence for 25 years, calling the incident a wrongful conviction and publicly crediting it as the reason he became involved in Saving America politics. Both Wong and Conz knew of this case when entering into politics with Fitzgerald and now use it to mask their own current misdeeds. The current misdeeds of Wong and Conz have no relation to the integrity of Fitzgerald, who has been transparent and has not taken payment for his work. Third-party witnesses, documents, emails, and texts prove the case against these two. https://www.issuewire.com/stan-fitzgerald-from-operation-bullpen-to-the-fall-of-deceit-hitting-back-on-political-persecution-1784710722803880

In February 2024, Fitzgerald filed a police report in Georgia for cyberstalking by Angie Wong, targeting his 80-year-old mother. Florida attorney Jason Smith then filed a motion for a restraining order against Wong. These documents are available in the litigation discovery process. Wong has a history of targeting the elderly; she targeted a 96-year-old journalist in an apparent litigation scheme, and her alternate phone number was used in social security scams (not accusing Wong of this crime here, its just a fact her phone number was used). PRLog Article (See FBI report for social security scam).

Butch Conz, who publicly threatened Stan Fitzgerald in writing after the cloned website investigation, later indicated he would mail letters to Fitzgerald’s neighbors, which took place. The defamatory and threatening letters were mailed with a fake sender name, a federal crime. In July 2024, one unopened letter was forwarded to Stan Fitzgerald, who will be seeking a firm for forensic review of its contents.

Conz’s investigative findings were originally published on March 16, 2024, on a North Carolina VFAF website and Those findings are as follows:

Summary of Veterans for America First Investigative Findings regarding Butch Conz website:

On or about February 26, 2024, at the instruction of Donald Trump Jr., the Addison McDowell campaign reached out to VFAF Veterans for Trump attorney Jared Craig, inquiring if the endorsement of Mark Walker issued by the North Carolina State Chapter was authentic. Mark Walker was reported by the national media to be claiming endorsements he did not actually have. Addison McDowell is endorsed by President Trump for North Carolina’s 6th congressional district, and the race is now heading to a runoff on May 14, 2024.

An internal investigation revealed that the endorsement was issued through an unauthorized cloned website, and the authentic North Carolina state website hosted on the VFAF server was shut down. A public statement was issued on February 28 announcing these facts. On March 1, 2024, the VFAF organization issued an authorized endorsement of Addison McDowell for Congress, along with an attached interview with VFAF attorney Jared Craig. The internal investigation was ongoing at this point.

On March 16, 2024, the internal investigation into the North Carolina Veterans for America First cloned website was completed and released for public transparency as follows:

The findings indicate that former state chapter president Butch Conz, also known as Ed Conz, breached a contractual agreement between himself and L-Strategies (represented by attorney Jared Craig) by moving the NC State Chapter off the VFAF server and cloning the website. He further breached the contract by denying access to the VFAF Webmaster. Conz violated endorsement protocols, which he acknowledged receiving in writing, prior to making an endorsement against President Trump’s candidate.

On or about February 26, 2024, upon becoming aware of the cloned website and the unauthorized endorsement against the Trump candidate, VFAF National made it clear in a group text that the inquiry was directed by Donald Trump Jr. and demanded access to the website as per the contractual agreement, stating this would be handled quietly and internally. Conz was notified in the same text thread that he was being removed and would be refunded, which he agreed to in writing at that time.

On or about March 1, 2024, a defiant Conz, in an effort to work against the Trump-endorsed candidate, stood by the unauthorized endorsement on the cloned website. Conz then publicly shared news on the cloned website for the press containing defamation sourced from Angie Wong, who is a defendant being sued by L-Strategies and Legacy PAC in Georgia. Conz’s sharing of the defamation was an apparent effort to discredit the VFAF Veterans for Trump national endorsement that was to be carried by the state chapter. Conz was aware that Wong is being sued in Georgia by L-Strategies and attorney Jared Craig for defamation in ongoing litigation.

Our organization is deeply troubled that a self-professed Trump supporter would go to such great lengths to work against a Trump candidate. To further use defamation in an effort to diminish the influence of the national endorsement, when Donald Trump himself shared his own VFAF national endorsement on Truth Social during the presidential campaign, is appalling behavior by the former NC chapter president Conz.

Notice: For the purposes of the contractual agreement, there are only two signatures, Jared Craig and Butch Conz. Any inquiries should be directed to VFAF Veterans for Trump attorney Jared Craig at pdc.jbc@gmail.com

Events in Chronological Order:

November 2023 — Butch Conz, aka Edward Conz, signs the NC State Chapter agreement with Jared Craig. Page 1 of the Client Requirements specifies that the website is to remain on the VFAF server (managed by Vlad Lemets) with VFAF accessibility (Vlad Lemets as Webmaster). Conz breached both of these contractual requirements. See Exhibit A.

January 17, 2024 — In a group text thread, VFAF President Stan Fitzgerald became aware of Conz’s intent to ignore endorsement protocols. He was advised by Chad Caton, VFAF National Operations Director, to document the incident and send it directly to himself and Jared Craig, leaving Conz out of the loop. Caton stated that he would personally handle discussing the incident with Conz. See Exhibit B.

February 8, 2024 — An email reminder of endorsement protocols was sent out, and Conz acknowledged receiving the protocols. See Exhibit C.

February 26, 2024 — A text thread shows Conz was aware of an inquiry from Donald Trump Jr. regarding President Trump’s endorsement of Addison McDowell and whether VFAF authorized the endorsement of Mark Walker. In writing, Conz also agreed to take the refund after establishing the breach of contract. See Exhibit D.

March 2024 — Conz and Angie Wong are currently making public statements about FBI Operation Bullpen, which dates back to the mid-1990s. Wong, in her ongoing efforts to diminish the influence of VFAF, is using this decades-old FBI wrongful conviction, combined with countless defamatory statements, in her unsuccessful attempt to discredit the organization.

Most Recent — Conz commented on the endorsement of minority candidate Willie Montague, a black faith leader in a congressional campaign that has the endorsement of VFAF. See Exhibit E. In his efforts to comment on the minority candidate’s endorsement, he tagged the alias account of Angie Wong, known as Exposing VFAF. It has been reported that Exposing VFAF is Angie Wong. This account, while focusing on attacking VFAF, has also attacked President Trump, his attorney Alina Habba, Trump pundit Gavin Wax, and numerous other America First leaders. Anti-Semitic comments are reported to have been shared by Wong. IssueWire Article.

VFAF National President Stan Fitzgerald was wrongfully convicted in that 30-year-old investigation and has very publicly stated that he credits the wrongful conviction as inspiring him to become a grassroots leader in the America First Movement and produce the film “The Fall of Deceit.” The national media has covered the wrongful conviction, and the information is available on both Fitzgerald’s personal website and the Veterans for Trump website. Conz and Wong are deflecting from their own actions, as in the aforementioned Conz operation against the Trump candidate. Both Conz and Wong were aware of the wrongful conviction when they joined VFAF, wanting to benefit from Fitzgerald’s leadership. IssueWire Article

Fitzgerald has now been invited to meet with President Trump 13 times, worked as leadership on the SC Trump Campaign Coalition Team, and has received a verbal shout-out from President Trump for his work.

Fitzgerald’s work is credited with helping dozens of America First candidates take office as well as helping sitting members get re-elected in close elections. Under Fitzgerald’s leadership, the organization is credited with having a powerful primary endorsement by the national media. To date, the VFAF endorsement is coveted by hundreds of candidates nationwide each cycle but is sparingly issued.

The Powerful Primary Endorsement from Veterans for Trump and Veterans for America First

Exhibits attached — Conz moved the website off the authorized server and changed passwords to deny audit of fundraising activities. Clearly a breach of contract.
