

On May 23, 2025, Fitzgerald followed up with a text regarding the filing of a contempt motion against Wong for allegedly sharing the sealed documents and again requested a motion be filed for the transcripts to be unsealed to which counsel replied he was working on it. However, the following week the appeal was entered on the docket, rendering these actions moot.

In July 2025, portions of court transcripts and related filings, some of which were reportedly sealed, were widely shared in Georgia.
Social media discussions occurred among recipients of the emails, focusing on whether the shared materials were sealed or unsealed.
On August 12, 2025, during proceedings in Cobb County, Georgia, in Stan Fitzgerald v. Edward Conz Jr. a/k/a Butch Conz, Case No. 25CV05417, testimony was presented that Angie Wong had communications with witnesses regarding the distribution of court transcripts.
