TEXAS — Veterans for America First (VFAF), also known as Veterans for Trump, announces its endorsement of Tiffany Nelson for the Texas State Board of Education, District 6. The endorsement was issued by Kimberly Taiko Moyers, a United States Navy veteran and VFAF National Vet Force Director, in recognition of Nelson's leadership in public education, support for military veterans and their families, and commitment to academic accountability and constitutional principles.

Nelson brings experience in education governance, nonprofit leadership, community service, and veterans advocacy. As a former trustee of the Conroe Independent School District and a mother of six, she understands the importance of parental involvement, responsible school governance, and ensuring that students receive a quality education that prepares them for future success.

Beyond her work in public education, Nelson has demonstrated a commitment to supporting those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Through professional leadership, charitable initiatives, and fundraising efforts, she has helped strengthen programs benefiting veterans, active-duty military personnel, first responders, and their families.

Her involvement has included supporting recovery and resilience initiatives addressing post-traumatic stress, the challenges associated with military service, and the transition from military to civilian life. These efforts have also supported faith-based recovery programs, family stability, and resources intended to help veterans rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.

For Veterans for America First, Nelson's commitment to military families reflects an important principle: service to the nation does not end when a military member returns home, and the responsibility to support America's veterans extends well beyond their years in uniform.

Leadership in Texas Public Education

Nelson's experience as a former school board trustee provides a foundation in educational oversight, administrative accountability, and community engagement. Her background has placed her directly within the challenges facing Texas families, educators, and students.

She has also participated in public discussions surrounding the Texas State Board of Education's review of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), including the state's Social Studies curriculum standards.

Nelson encouraged Texans to participate in public hearings and advocated for educational standards that emphasize American history, constitutional government, civic responsibility, patriotism, and an understanding of the nation's founding principles.

Her approach to education emphasizes academic excellence, parental rights, historical literacy, and the importance of preparing students to become informed and responsible citizens.

Veterans for America First recognizes the connection between strong public education and the future of the nation. The students attending Texas schools today will become tomorrow's military service members, first responders, business leaders, educators, and public officials. Their understanding of American history, constitutional rights, and civic responsibilities will help shape the future of their communities and the country.
